Automatic context management
Claude Code compacts context and continues the task automatically. Its auto-compact setting is managed in the worker’s /config menu.
YOLO by default for new workers
Every new worker starts in YOLO mode (skips permission prompts). Default OFF. You can still toggle YOLO per worker from its ⋯ menu.
Workers may message across groups
Workers may message only workers in a shared group. Owner input remains permitted.
Auto-drain backlog for all workers
Default ON: when To Do is empty, promote the oldest eligible Backlog card and keep driving it. Human-owned, triggered, epic, watch, and tripwire cards remain parked; a group or worker configuration can opt out.
Auto-answer resume dialog
Pick "Resume from summary" automatically when the old-worker dialog appears
Auto-file every command as a task
Every command you send becomes a board issue, so the board is the source of truth without you filing anything. Control words ("continue", "yes") are skipped.
Autofix: file a card when something breaks
Watches server errors, latency, dead routes, stalled subsystems, invariants and the build — files one board card per distinct fault, with the evidence, and lets the board hand it to a worker. It never fixes anything itself. Off still detects and records; only the card is skipped (see /api/debug/autofix).
Applied to new Claude workers without an explicit model. Choose a known model or type a newer exact ID.
Model for quick meta tasks (Look Up, Orchestrate routing, worker summaries). Defaults to the cheapest, fastest Claude model. Any Claude or local model works.
Routine notifications use in-app amux Alerts. Urgent alerts are reserved for things that need your attention immediately — workers are told to use them sparingly.

These actions apply only to this server. Tokens and keys are never saved in the connection list.

Open Connect to read active security status.

Use auth_token from this server’s active Amux home. This is not a provider API key or invite token.

Server certificate · owner only

Use a matching, currently valid server certificate for this hostname. Never upload a CA private key. Saving requires an operator restart; Tailscale SNI remains separate.

Browser blocks HTTPS before sign-in?

On the server machine, open http://localhost:<this server's port>/connection-setup for local trust and install instructions. This page cannot grant OS/browser trust. Ask the operator to provide a trusted certificate; do not disable TLS checks.

Cards workers can use without seeing. amux types the card into the worker's checkout page; the number never reaches a prompt or a log. A charge above an item's limit waits for your approval in the approvals banner.

Values workers receive as environment variables when they start, encrypted on this machine. The most specific scope wins: worker, then group, then global. A saved value is never shown again; replace it to change it.

Connect ChatGPT to this amux so it can list workers, read their output, message them and manage board cards. Nothing can delete or stop a worker from ChatGPT. Every connection waits here for your approval.
